In Memory of Shana.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague. Shana was an invaluable member of our team, deeply committed to those around her. Her contributions were essential to Endodontic Associates' dedication to patient care. She was not only a colleague but also a steadfast friend and source of support to everyone who knew her.

Barbara has been a Finance Coordinator with Endodontic Associates of Central Texas since 2009. In 2010, she became a Registered Dental Assistant. This additional certification allows Barb to further explain root canal procedures, insurance, and other payment options with patients. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones and is an avid animal lover. One day in the near future, she plans to swim with sharks!

Johana been with Endodontic Associates of Central Texas since 2017, working as a Patient Coordinator. She is a key member of the front office dream team. She is originally from Sweetwater, Texas, and currently lives in Nolanville with her two sons, King and Josiah. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her boys and friends. She secretly loves to celebrate while eating a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
Our Clinical Staff

Rowena is our Chief Dental Assistant. She’s been with our practice since 2011. She grew up as a military child and moved to Ft. Hood, TX, in 1999. She graduated a few months earlier than her class in 2007. She has continued to grow and learn within the dental field and has been able to experience all the growth at our practice. Outside of work, she is a mother of four amazing children. If she isn’t keeping busy with the family. She enjoys music, dancing, and plenty of adult beverages! Or simply binge-watching a good drama series at home.

Steph has been a dental assistant since 2001. She is originally from Nebraska, attended dental assisting school there, and graduated from college in 2001. She worked as a pediatric assistant for 10 years before moving to Texas. Steph has been a valued member of our practice since 2011, working as a Registered Dental Assistant. With all her knowledge, she enjoys making our patients feel as comfortable as possible.
Steph moved to Texas in 2010, with her family, while her husband was on active duty with the U.S. Army. She has been married to her husband, Chad, since 2003 and has 3 amazing children that keep her busy. She really enjoys spending time with family and friends and going to watch her kids play all their sporting events.

Ruth started as a dental assistant in 2015 at a practice in Temple. After returning to the Central Texas area in 2019, she began at Endodontic Associates of Central Texas and became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2020. She enjoys delivering a fast, easy, and laid-back experience to all patients (“30 minutes or less or your money back” -Dominoes™). Ruth enjoys sleeping on the weekends and fixing up her house with her husband. She spends a lot of time with their three cats, Hubert, Charles, and Augustus, and is working on making a catio area for them. She also enjoys taking her dog, Bardin, on daily walks and fails to brush him as much as he needs.

Melissa began her journey as a Registered Dental Assistant with Endodontic Associates of Central Texas in 1998. She enjoys ensuring that her patients are relaxed, comfortable, and feel heard at our office. She is a Texas native and has been in Killeen with her family for quite some time. Melissa’s favorite pastime is spending time with her children and grandbabies. She also has her two dogs, Cooper and Nugget, and two cats, Pepper Jean and Sammy Jo, that she enjoys.

Katlyn is one of our newest dental assistants at Endodontic Associates of Central Texas and became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2024. She has worked as a dental assistant in different specialties, such as general and orthodontics, and is committed to providing a warm atmosphere and excellent patient care. Katlyn was born in Ft. Stewart, GA in 1998 and moved with her family to Killeen, TX in 2009. She graduated from Texas A&M University-Central Texas in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In her free time, Katlyn enjoys practicing self-care and playing with her dog, Paisley, and her cat, Chai.
